Resümee. Bei Prospektionen auf der Flur Overath-Ginsterfeld im Frühjahr 2014 wurden fast fünfhundert Funde eingemessen. Etwa ein Drittel davon gehört in die Steinzeit. Die mittelsteinzeitlichen Funde können wahrscheinlich der Rhein-Maas-Schelde-Kultur des älteren Mittelmesolithikums, Phase A, zugeordnet werden (7600–6500 v.
