Sediment samples from sediment cores from Birkat Ram (drilling at campaign 2010) were analyzed for 14C-AMS dating to proof the existing age-depth model between depths of 6.53 m to 9.65 m. Four samples of aquatic plants, which had the required weight, have been dated by the Radiocarbon Laboratory Beta Analytic in London. Measured dates are confirming the existing chronology of Birkat Ram based on studies from Schwab et al. (2004) and Schiebel (2013). Two new dated samples from depth between 7.46 m and 9.83 m enclose the timeframe between two dry phases of the lake system. Due to this limitation it can be shown, that Birkat Ram must be refilled with water until ca. 25600 years BP.
