OSL data of the Balta Alba Kurgan loess-paleosol sequence, Romania


This is the DRAC file (cf. Durcan et al., 2015) used for age calculation of the optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating data from the Balta Alba Kurgan loess-paleosol sequence in Romania. This dataset corresponds to the luminescence age data published in Scheidt et al. (2020). The sample names in the first column are encoded as follows: Profile-number_sample-number_protocol. So for example sample BAK1_1_IR50 gives the results of conventional IRSL at 50°C measurements for sample no. 1 in profile BAK1. This sample is a fine-grained sample. Coarse-grained samples have an additional name appendix "_GK". Q stands for standard SAR quartz measurements, while pIRIR stands for the pIRIR290 protocol. For explanation on the remaining columns, the reader is reffered to the DRAC website and the corresponding publication (Durcan et al., 2015).
