The Wadi Sabra - A contextual approach to the Palaeolithic Landscape – Appendix

Abstract

This appendix contains further information on different topics of the CRC 806 Monograph The Wadi Sabra (Jordan) - A contextual approach to the Palaeolithic Landscape (Parow-Souchon 2020).
It mainly deals with two different topics:

"Appendix 1" includes a number of outsourced chapters focusing on the one hand on methodology, e.g. the treatment of databases, the method used for lithic illustration and the considerations and testing of the curation indices. On the other hand, this appendix add additional material for the Wadi Sabra, short introductions into the inventories discussed in the printed text as well as the primary data presentation for Sabra 3 South.

"Appendix 2" includes further graphics referred to the printed text, including all plots for the CCAs discussed there.

"Appendix 3" yield the data tables used for this work, as the tool type list, the transformation reference from the original literature as well as the data tables used in the calculations.

The section "Plates" includes all lithic illustrations referred to the printed text in Roman numerals.
