A short update

The non-posting of news items can probably be explained by the fact, that the author of the news items had his final PhD year and just finished his dissertation four weeks ago. As this very website and the whole CRC806-Database infrastructure are the subject of this dissertation project, it is clear that many new things were designed and implemented for the CRC806-Database during this year.

In the following weeks and month some detailed news items introducing the major new developments of the CRC806-Database will be delivered here. To give a short summary of what is new, here are some keywords: Automated DOI assignment and publication, Collaborative Data collection and Editing, Open Paleoenvironment GIS data collection, improved data metrics, new student assistant staff, and much more.
