Abstract

Coímbre cave’s research Project is being developed since 2008 focused on the excavation of its archaeological site and in the documentation and study of its rock art. This paper summarizes the state of the ongoing research, focused on the important Magdalenian sequence that contains Coímbre cave with one of the most complete sequences in the Cantabrian Magdalenian and with a relevant representation of engravings that are contemporaneous of this human occupation.
